Why should I register my Stepping Cob?

By registering your Stepping Cob with the Association, you will be playing a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the Stepping Cob, ensuring that their characteristics of hardiness, strength, movement and beauty are maintained for future generations to enjoy. What is a registration?

We will produce for you a registration certificate. You will be issued with a database number which will remain with your horse for life.

How much with this cost?

We are a non-profit association, a registration fee of £20.00 is required which covers the support of the database, cost of breed certificate and money reinvested in supporting and promoting the Stepping Cob Association which will accredit your Stepping Cob.

Who approves registration of Stepping Cob?

We have an expert panel of recognised breeds in the UK. If for any reason we have a discrepancy of acceptance, the request will go before our panel of recognised breeders. Membership of our panel is Chairman Paul Hayman , supported by Robert Fish, Amos Beaney, Gareth Kelly, Ben Brown, Keith Norman and Lloy Jefferies
